Private Art Gallery
Custom passenger lift.
- Date: 2017
- Client: Private
- Project Type: Private art gallery and creative industries hub.
About this Project
Located in the old Mercury building in Hobart’s Macquarie St, this was an amazing transformation into a creative industries hub and private art gallery.
- Custom passenger lift
- Custom fixtures and appointments
- Reduced pit depth and overhead
Another custom design project by our team featuring frameless glass doors, floor and reduced pit depth of 600mm.
The cabin and landing frames had a raw steel finish to suit the designer’s building decor with the door sills finished in black ertalon. The car operating panel was integrated into the lift cabin wall with custom low profile buttons for a seamless finish.
